Educational Philosophy

I believe that all children are unique, and as a teacher, it is my job to make sure the learning environment is safe, supports risk-taking, and invites the sharing of ideas. Using the internet is a great way to show children the real world outside of their small community. Using technology is great support for learning because it can take us to places we have been or will never go. Using technology is a great visual for all learners. I believe teachers need to act as a guide and allow the child’s natural curiosity to direct his or her learning and three, I believe in promoting respect for all things and all people.

Children are our future and every child has the potential to bring something unique and special to the world. I have changed my worldview a little by putting more emphasis on the children being caring and respectful of others. The children need to have an environment that will allow them to blossom and grow. I have put more focus in the children’s independence in the classroom giving them more hands-on learning and individual to encourage them to become active learners.

I believe that learning never goes away and we need to learn to grow.
